Joining Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Rho Theta Zeta Chapter is by invitation only; however, we encourage interested women with a track record of community service and in possession of a baccalaureate degree to contact our chapter for more information. It is expected that individuals who are invited to membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. have demonstrated a commitment to community service, scholarship, sisterhood, and finer womanhood.
The required way to show formal interest in membership is attendance at the Informational Interest Meeting hosted by the chapter. Attendance at the Informational Interest Meeting does not guarantee that an invitation to membership will be extended.
Membership provides benefits of support, encouragement, and friendships that last a lifetime. Zeta Phi Beta membership also offers many practical benefits that include opportunities for professional development, personal development, and sisterhood. Our members are active in the community and hold dear the ideals of Service, Scholarship, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is a non-hazing organization. In fact, members and women who are interested in membership are prohibited from engaging in conduct that violates the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Policy Against Hazing.
Minimum Educational Requirements for Graduate Membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.:

Bachelor’s level degree conferred from an accredited, four-year college or university, to be confirmed by receiving the undergraduate transcript showing the cumulative grade point average and date the undergraduate degree was conferred.

Prospective members who did not have at least a 2.75 cumulative grade point at graduation are eligible for intake into the Sorority three (3) years after graduation from an accredited four-year college/university unless she has earned a Master’s degree, doctoral degree, or professional degree (Ed.S., Ed.D,, J.D., M.D., PharmD, or Ph.D.) from an accredited university. In this case, the Prospective Member must provide both the undergraduate transcript and the graduate transcript showing the date the applicable degree was conferred.

Undergraduate transcript must be provided to confirm eligibility for membership in a graduate chapter and submitted regardless of whether any advanced degrees have been earned.
